Seed Lantern checks thousands of Minecraft Java seeds a second, right in your browser, and shows you the ones with what you want near spawn.
Terrain preview. The hills, cliffs and water are made from this seed using Minecraft's own terrain math, so the shape of the land should match. Trees, plants, villages, caves and the exact blocks aren't shown, and the colors show the biome. Some spots can look a little different in the game, so check it there before you build.
The short version: Seed Lantern doesn't ask who you are, and the world generation runs on your own device.
Your search, settings, seed history, waypoints and theme are saved in your browser so they're there next time. They aren't sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Ideas, shared seeds and their comments, replies and emoji reactions are public on the boards, without your name. Please never post personal details. Posts with contact details or unkind words are blocked, and we remove anything that breaks these rules.
So you can edit and delete your own posts, your browser keeps a random code that isn't linked to you. To stop spam, the server briefly keeps a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your connection's address, only to limit how fast posts can be made.
When ads are switched on, they come from Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show and measure ads. Visitors in the UK and Europe are asked first. You can change how Google uses your data in Google's Ad Settings.
Seed Lantern is for everyone and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child shared something personal, contact us and we'll remove it.
